ISLAMABAD – Smart lockdown has been imposed in G-9/2 & G-9/3 and Markaz Karachi Company areas of Islamabad. Lockdown in G-9/2 & G-9/3 and Markaz Karachi Company has been designed to stop disease spread and induce due caution in other high spread areas.
During last 24 hours quite 13116 violations of health guidelines/instructions observed across Pakistan.
More than 1541 markets/shops, 33 industries and 1429 transports were cautioned/fined/sensitised/sealed.
In Islamabad Capital Territory, 44 hotels, 120 shops and seven industrial units were closed over 255 SOP violations.
Federal and provincial authorities are ensuring compliance to health guidelines/ instructions particularly working places, industrial sector/ transport / markets & shops, supported TTQ strategy. Total 1292 Smart lockdowns enforced where 308600 population is in those smart lockdown throughout the country.
To ensure the implementation of the health guidelines/ instructions and preventive measures special teams are operating all across the country to make sure that the SOPs are being implemented.
Details of Violations of health guidelines across Pakistan and enforcement measures
A total of 225 violations in Islamabad resulted in action against 44 hotels, 7 shops and 120 industries, 22 workshops and 42 transport vehicles.
In Azad Jammu and Kashmir total of 1037 violations resulted in action against 163 shops and markets while 170 transport vehicles were sealed/closed.
Similarly in Gilgit Baltistan total of 231 violations resulted in action against 37 markets and shops, while 15 industries and 83 transport vehicles were sealed/closed.
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa total of 5798 violation resulted in action against 239 markets and shops while 122 transport vehicles were sealed/closed.
In Punjab total of 3753 violation resulted in action against 820 shops and markets, 9 industries and 776 transport vehicles.
In Punjab total of 1306 violations resulted in action against 81 shops and markets, 1 industry and 217 transport vehicles.
